Behind every great success, there are great people. The Quiet Giant Award was established in 1999 to recognize those people who diligently and quietly aid in our fight against cystic fibrosis. Those silent partners do their work, without any fanfare and often feel awkward about recognition for their contributions. Too bad! We love you and appreciate all you do!
Dirk Kettlewell
Dirk works hard to enlist the help of his vendor partners at OfficeMax in support of the foundation. He and his vendors purchase corporate tables at Booming Celebration and foursomes in the Golf Invitational, Dirk also organized a fundraiser in Pittsburgh prior to a Monday night Football game in October, and he enlisted the help of Steve Routman of Target Marketing and Kristen Woods at Hewlett Packard to ensure the Foundation had new computers and printers after losing its offices on September 11.
